Molar Mass of Common Alkanes
Alkanes are hydrocarbons consisting of only carbon and hydrogen atoms, with the general formula CnH2n+2. The molar mass of alkanes is determined by adding the atomic masses of all the atoms in a single molecule of the alkane. The following table provides a curated list of molar mass values for common alkanes.
